I was fascinated by this tree when I was hiking in Kumaraparvatha in Karnataka, the tree, its bark and whole setup seems beautiful and fresh. My First painting in Shillong, when I started it I was very disappointed because the acrylic painting was not drying up as fast I used to it in warangal which is a hot climate, but the weather in Shillong is cold it dries up late. However, I took advantage of this as now I can do more shading with acrylics :). The painting took 5 days to finish.
